By Elad Inbar, RobotLAB founder & CEO — a practical guide to adopting robotics that actually delivers ROI.
About the book →Pudu Robotics is the world's most-deployed commercial service robot brand, with the iconic BellaBot, KettyBot, and CC1 cleaner trusted by restaurants, hotels, senior living, and warehouses across every RobotLAB market.
Founded in 2016 in Shenzhen, China, Pudu Robotics has grown into the most prolific service robot manufacturer in the world, with deployments in more than 60 countries and a product line that spans food delivery, marketing greeters, autonomous floor cleaning, last-mile logistics, and humanoid platforms. Pudu's BellaBot is the single most recognizable restaurant robot on the planet, and the CC1 4-in-1 cleaner has become a core unit in the RobotLAB cleaning fleet.
Iconic cat-face restaurant delivery robot with four trays and 88 lbs payload
Compact greeter and runner with built-in advertising screen, perfect for tight dining rooms
4-in-1 floor robot: scrub, sweep, vacuum, and mop in a single autonomous unit
Enclosed multi-cabin delivery robot for hotels with full elevator integration
Industrial delivery robot for factories and warehouses with 660 lb payload
Bipedal humanoid platform for research and next-gen service deployments
BellaBot is in more restaurants than any other robot brand. Elad Inbar said it plainly, and the deployment numbers back it up: tens of thousands of units in dining rooms across 60+ countries.
Pudu is the only manufacturer that covers food delivery, cleaning, last-mile logistics, and humanoid platforms under a single SDK and fleet console, so operators can scale across categories without re-training staff.
We carry first-day spare parts, in-house certified technicians, and a 24/7 support desk. When a BellaBot needs a tray motor at 2am on a Saturday, we ship same-day.
“BellaBot is in more restaurants than any other robot brand.”
Operators asked us these questions over the last two years of Pudu deployments. The answers reflect what we have actually seen in the field — not marketing copy.
We see 12-18% faster table turns once BellaBot is running food. Servers stop walking to the kitchen and stay with guests, which means orders, refills, and check-drops happen faster. The four-tray load per trip is the unlock — one trip serves a four-top instead of two trips.
It does not replace a host, but it greets, escorts to table, and runs upsell videos on the front screen during the walk. In high-volume QSR and fast-casual, that frees the host to manage waitlist and reservations during peak rush.
At RaaS pricing of about $1,495/mo, the CC1 replaces roughly 30-35 hours per week of overnight floor labor. Most 50K sqft facilities see payback in 8-11 months versus a third-party cleaning contract.
It does all four credibly, but the killer mode is scrubbing. Sweep and vacuum are good; mopping is good on hard floors; scrubbing is where the cost-vs-human story is unbeatable.
FlashBot integrates with most modern elevator controllers via API or KONE/Otis adapter. RobotLAB handles the integration spec during scoping. Deployments without an open API use a relay-based cab caller, which adds about 5-7 days to the project.
Most tray sensor failures are resolved by a recalibration RobotLAB ships to the robot remotely. If a sensor module is bad, we ship a replacement same-day and our technician swaps it in under 30 minutes.
Yes. BellaBot, KettyBot, and FlashBot support 20+ voice and UI languages out of the box, including Spanish, French, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, and Arabic.
Yes, but it can roam. Pudu robots use seamless WiFi roaming and will continue a delivery if they hit a brief dead zone. For multi-floor hotels we audit WiFi during the site survey and fill gaps before deployment.
BellaBot has 3D ToF cameras and LiDAR with a sub-second emergency stop. In practice, the robot detects small fast-moving objects, slows, and stops before contact. We have not had an incident in years of restaurant deployments.
Existing fleets can trade in at depreciated value through RobotLAB. The Pro adds higher payload, faster speed, and improved 3D obstacle perception, which matters in cluttered dining rooms.
